How Do You Report a Suspicious Fortnite Player Without Making False Reports?

Closed thread Closed by archive

Had a match yesterday where someone seemed to know exactly where everyone was.

Obviously that can look suspicious, but I've also watched enough good players to know that amazing awareness doesn't automatically mean cheating.

What's the best way to report someone when their gameplay genuinely looks questionable?

Do you normally use the in-game report option or just move on?

I don't want to report every player who beats me. That would be embarrassing lmao.

Use the in-game reporting system. That's what it's there for.

Agreed. Don't start accusing people in chat just because they hit a good shot.

Some players have crazy game sense. They'll predict rotations and common positions because they've played thousands of matches.

You can report suspicious behavior without pretending you know exactly which software someone is using. Let the review process handle it.

Also, don't coordinate mass reports against someone because your squad got eliminated. That's just abusing the reporting system.

Official reporting is better than posting someone's account details or starting a witch hunt. Epic explains that player reports are reviewed and sanctions are applied when warranted.
