Fortnite ESP vs Radar: Are These Actually Two Different Features?

Closed thread Closed by archive

I've been seeing Fortnite ESP and radar listed separately on different product pages.

I always thought they were basically the same thing. Both seem to be about getting additional information about players and items.

But some menus have player boxes, skeletons, distance indicators and then a completely separate radar section.

Is there an actual difference between them?

Also, does having both mean you're getting two different types of visual information, or is it mostly a UI preference?

Just curious because these feature lists are getting ridiculously long lol.

They're related but not identical. ESP generally means displaying information through an overlay, while radar usually refers to showing player or item markers in a separate radar-style interface. Same general purpose, different presentation.

Yeah exactly. Think of ESP as information attached to what you're looking at and radar as a separate overview. At least that's how the terms are normally used.

I swear some product pages call absolutely everything ESP now lol. You can barely tell what you're actually comparing.

One thing worth remembering is that these are third-party cheat features, not official Fortnite functions. Epic's rules prohibit cheating and promoting known cheats.

This is why I'd rather see a proper feature breakdown instead of a page saying 100+ features and leaving you to guess what half of them do.
